What Will You do With Jesus?

by on January 4, 2014

And they (religious leaders) were filled with madness; and

Communed one with another

What they might do to Jesus.

And it came to pass in those days, that

He went out into a mountain to pray, and

Continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day,

He called unto him his disciples: and of them

He chose twelve, Whom also he named apostles;

Luke 6:11-13

The religious leaders of Jesus’ day had a chronic problem – what to do with Jesus?

  • He did not fit their expectations.
  • He broke their laws.
  • He rejected their system.

They rejected Jesus.

  • They were filled with madness.
  • They had a meeting.
  • They tried to decide how to get rid of Jesus.

What did Jesus do when He was rejected?

  • He sought solitude.
  • He prayed to God.
  • He called disciples to follow Him.
  • He selected some of His disciples to be apostles.

What will you do with Jesus?

  • He may not meet your expectations.
  • He may not fit your molds.
  • He is waiting for you to decide what to do with Him.

What will you do with Jesus?
Neutral you cannot be;
Someday your heart will be asking,
“What will He do with me?”
