Ezekiel 40-48 “Thy Kingdom Come” – Glory of God returns to the Temple

Ezekiel lived during the time of the destruction of Solomon’s temple. The Jewish temple was in smoking ruins. In the midst of this depressing situation, God gives Ezekiel a vision of a temple – the temple with details and instructions. What a blessed vision of God’s plan and care for His people. In chapters 40 to 48 God gives Ezekiel visions of the coming rebuilt temple. This temple is the millennial temple – existing during the coming 1000 year reign of Jesus on this earth spoken of in Revelation 20.
