Childlike and Christlike

by on June 7, 2015

Man rose to great heights through the fall of Adam and wants to be great, mighty, and holy in his own sight.

In order to redeem man from his perilous condition, God ordered through His Son that certain simple things be done.

If man does them in true faith and in obedience hold his reason captive,

He will gradually become single-minded and childlike.

It is just in this single-mindedness that the soul again finds rest, peace, and security.

Therefore, Christ says: Truly, I say unto you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven.
