I. Problem
God — Lord Jesus Christ — Mankind

II. Provisions
Jesus the advocate, mediator, propitiation between God and Mankind
Christ died for us – reconciliation

III. Processes
Faith in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ
Hope>tribulations>patience>experience>hope without shame

IV. Results
-Justification – understood by telling the truth about: God, self, sin, and Jesus
Rom. 5:1 ¶ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Rom. 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Rom. 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Rom. 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life
(be careful with reductionism- focus on only one aspect of a subject such as justification)
-Peace with God
-Standing in the grace of God
-Joy in the hope of the glory of God
-Love of God in our hearts by the Holy Spirit
-Saved from wrath through Him
-Reconciled to God by death of His Son
-Saved by His life
-Joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ
-Hope in tribulation
Rom. 5:2 and 5:3 – glory of God – we glory in tribulations that lead us to the glory of God
